April doesn’t just have to be for showers that bring May flowers and April 1st doesn’t have to just be about pulling everyone’s legs. April is also a very reasonable time to drink beer, as is every day.
We like Fort George Brewery and we like the beers they make, like, a lot a lot, so we’re going to put a whole bunch on tap to help them kick-off their Vortex Month. Vortex Month celebrates their long running, best selling and oh-so-delicious West Coast IPA.
In addition to the OG Vortex and a couple versions from the vault including DDH Vortex and OmegaTex, a double version of Vortex. They also partner with some of their friends in the beer industry to make Vortex variants with cute names and astounding liquid.
Here’s what’ll be on tap:
“Vortex” West Coast IPA - 7.2% - The mother of them all. Clear, clean, refreshing.
“Vor Tai P.A.” - West Coast IPA - 7% - Made in collaboration with Alvarado Street Brewery. The glorious spawn of Alvarado’s Mai Tai P.A. and Vortex
“Fuzz Tex” - Hazy IPA - Made in collaboration with Bellingham, WA’s Structures Brewing. The combo of Structure’s Fuzz and Vortex.
“DDH Vortex” - West Coast IPA - 7.2% - Vortex, but with MORE hops. Prepare your tastebuds for the onslaught.
“OmegaTex” - West Coast Double IPA - 9.9% - Back from the long time ago.
Pilsner - 5% - Crisp, clean, modern.
“Matroyshka with Peanut Butter Cup” - Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout - 13.6% - A blend of single and double barrel aged Imperial Stout aged for 12-48 months in Bernheim Whiskey, Westland Whiskey and Westward Whiskey barrels with Comoros, Vanuatu, Madagascar and Thai Vanilla, Cacao Nibs, Roasted Peanuts, Peanut Butter Powder
