Once a year a spectacular migration occurs. The mighty Big Chickens, in their steel enclosures, make the harrowing journey from their ancestral breeding grounds along the central Pacific Coast of this here US of A in Santa Rosa, California to the damp, dark and squishy Pacific Northwest. On this finest of days, the Big Chickens go straight from their mama’s big steel belly into their own little home and are shuffled into a an automobile and driven, by some bearded beer person, to their final destination. Once there, they are tapped and consumed by the carnivorous mouths of their primary predator, the vicious and eternally thirsty beer drinker.
We tap the beer when we get it, which could be anytime during the day. We’ll post to our Instagram once it has arrived, so follow us there!!
What the heck is a Big Chicken or just Big Chicken, as the Californians call it? It is an absolutely delightful Triple IPA that comes, as fresh as humanly possible, from the brewery to our doorstep and we get it from our doorstep to the bar top in no time flat. You won’t find a fresher beer anywhere.
