SAT. June 19th, 5pm-close: Brewpublic and Saraveza showcase Oregon’s hard-to-find nanobreweries at Microhopic! What’s a nanobrewery? It’s when the batches of beer produced are very small in comparison to a commercial brewery sometimes only brewing a handful of kegs at a time. At the fest you’ll find local nano-beers and brewers including; Hood River’s Big Horse Brewing (brewer Jason Kahler), N. PDX’s Rivergate Brewing (brewer Brian Frisch), SE PDX’s Mt. Tabor Brewing (brewer Eric Surface) and Hillsboro’s Ambacht Brewing (brewer Tom Kramer).

She’s a real beauty…come on by, drink a goblet and meet the pretty face behind Bridgeport’s Stumptown Tart! Get your Polaroid taken with the lovely lady and taste this year’s Stumptown Tart. She’s a Belgian Style Framboise infused with 2,000 pounds of Oregon Red Raspberries grown at Willamette Valley Fruit Company in Salem, OR. The ‘10 Stumptown Tart varies from years past as it blends an aged oak barrel and a fresh Belgian Tripel!!!

WED, JUNE 2nd, 6:30-8:30pm: A long awaited and limited release! Only 30 cases came into the state and we’re excited to share some of this limited beer with you! Parabola Imperial Stout, the first of a reserve series from Firestone Walker, is a barrel-aged 13% beer. Considered one of FSW’s most aggressive offerings, this beer features bold bourbon and tobacco aromas and a rich dark chocolate, charred oak flavor.
To top if off….Saraveza and Nectar Ales, Firestone’s sister brewery are handing out a Red Nectar Long Board!!! Come on down to try the Parabola and enter to win a Red Nectar Long Board! Drawing at 8 pm! FREE!

MONDAY, May 24th. 4-8pm: Join Southern Oregon Brewing and celebrate their Na Zdravi Czech Pilsner summer beer. S.O.B. will sample you on a fantastic line up, including: Le Freaque Cascadian Dark Ale, Watershed Red, Nice Rack IPA, Pin-Up Porter and Gold Digger Lager! Samples, Schwag raffles and fun to be had! Sat. July 10 (same day as Mississippi St. Fair): The North Portland Craft Dash is a “good cause” 5k that celebrates the neighborhood and it’s best beer offerings! You’ll have a chance to visit some of the neighborhood’s favorite beer stops while sampling NoPo beers. The race starts at Killingsworth’s The Hop & Vine and ends at Amnesia Brewing’s patio, where you’ll be presented with prizes and a drink ticket for the Mississippi Street Fair.
In signing up for the Craft Dash, you’ll receive a commemorative t-shirt and pint glass, a ticket for a beer at the Mississippi Street Fair Beer garden and beer at each of the five stops on the run. North Portland artist Zach Johnsen is creating the Craft Dash’s commemorative artwork . All proceeds go to North Portland’s Open Meadow Alternative School.
