A very special night of blending with Petrus!

Tuesday July 19th, 5pm and 8pm
Come join 7th generation owner Albert De Brabandere and master brewer Yves Benoit from Brewery De Brabandere in an intimate blending event featuring three Petrus beers. This seminar, held in Bad Habit Room, will have two seatings. The first seating goes from 5pm to 7pm and the second from 8pm to 10pm. Guests will receive 8oz pours of Petrus Aged Pale, Petrus Aged Red, Petrus Oud Bruin, and Bavik Super Pils. We’ll also be sampling out the new Wittekerke Wild, the classic Wit beer fermented with wild yeast cultured from the Petrus foeders.
Included with the beers and this very special chance to learn about blending sour and wild ales, Saraveza’s head Chef, Dustin Gettmann, is preparing a selection of amuse-bouches to serve along with the beers. Carefully selected to pair well with all of the beers, the hors d’oeuvres are as follows:
- Profiteroles with chicken liver mousse and cherry compote
- grilled endive with fried prosciutto and caper aioli
- house bacon with smoked tomato jam, arugula, biscuit
- artisan cheeses, seasonal fruit, macrona almonds, crackers
- charcuterie board - pate, mousse, country ham, pickles, dijon, bread
Next door, in Saraveza, a very special blend called “80/20” will be on draft for your pre or post presentation puckering pleasure.
Tickets will be available only at www.beerboutique.com for $40. The ticket includes food, beverages and a souvenir Petrus blending glass. Some lucky attendees will also win prizes during the presentation.Tweet this
